News The Sound of Music to Be Revived as Christmas Musical at U.K's Curve in Leicester The U.K's Curve in Leicester is to stage a new production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's 1959 Broadway musical The Sound of Music as this year's Christmas musical, beginning performances Nov. 28 prior to an official opening Dec. 3, for a run through Jan. 17.



The theatre, which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary, is currently offering Chicago (through Jan. 18), with Hello, Dolly!, The King and I and 42nd Street previously revived in this slot. All have been directed by Paul Kerryson, the theatre's outgoing artistic director, who will also direct this production as his last show at the theatre before he steps down in Dec. 2014.

No casting has been announced yet.
