The Verdict The Verdict: Critics Review Nicole Kidman in Photograph 51 The London premiere of Anna Ziegler's Photograph 51, seen in 2010 at Off-Broadway's Ensemble Studio Theater, officially opened Sept. 14 starring Nicole Kidman. Kidman, who returns to the London stage for the first time since starring in The Blue Room at the Donmar Warehouse (that subsequently transferred to Broadway), is joined by Stephen Campbell Moore (as Maurice Wilkins), Edward Bennett (as Francis Crick), Will Attenborough (James Watson), Patrick Kennedy (Don Caspar) and Joshua Silver (Ray Gosling).

Directed by Michael Grandage for his own troupe, the Michael Grandage Company, the play reunites Kidman and Grandage following their recent collaboration on the forthcoming feature film "Genius." She plays Rosalind Franklin, the woman who cracked DNA and asks what is sacrificed in the pursuit of science, love and a place in history.
