News "Theater Talk" Will Spotlight Curtains and Spring Awakening April 20 The April 20 broadcast of "Theater Talk," the PBS chat show that offers interviews with top theatre practitioners, will spotlight two new Broadway musicals: Curtains and Spring Awakening.

Three of the stars of CurtainsDavid Hyde Pierce, Karen Ziemba and Edward Hibbert — will be on hand to discuss their new show, which was penned by John Kander, Rupert Holmes and the late Fred Ebb and Peter Stone. Curtains plays the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.

Spring Awakening composer Duncan Sheik will also be part of the 30-minute theatre program. Sheik will perform the musical's opening number, "Momma Who Bore Me," which he wrote with lyricist Steven Sater. Spring Awakening plays the Eugene O'Neill Theatre.

Hosted by New York Post theatre columnist Michael Riedel and producer Susan Haskins, "Theater Talk" airs on WNET/Thirteen at 12:30 AM ET. "Theater Talk" can also be seen on CUNY-TV (Channel 75) and in Boston on WGBH (Channel 44).
