A hit that ran over 1,000 performances at the Imperial Theatre after opening in February 1979, They're Playing Our Song was inspired by the professional and personal relationship between Bayer Sager and Hamlisch. Along with Simon, the three crafted a funny, touching two-person musical, full of the ups and downs of any relationship, but especially one which fills the working and playing hours. The score includes "Fallin'," "Workin' It Out," "If He Really Knew Me," "They're Playing Our Song," "Right," "Just for Tonight," "When You're in My Arms," "I Still Believe in Love" and "Fill in the Words." Thompson, best known for her roles in "Back to the Future" and on "Caroline in the City," starred on Broadway as Sally Bowles in Cabaret. Sieber comes directly from the role of Rapunzel's Prince/Wolf in Into the Woods. His Broadway credits include Beauty and the Beast and The Triumph of Love.

Jon Engstrom will direct and choreograph. A former soloist with San Francisco Ballet, his performing Broadway and touring dance credits include No, No, Nannette, The Pajama Game, 42nd Street, Chicago and Seesaw. He recently directed 42nd Street in Germany.

Tickets are $55. The Freud Playhouse is located within Macgowan Hall at UCLA. For reservations, call (310) 825-2101. Reprise! is on the web at http://www.reprise.org.
