News Things to Ruin: The Songs of Joe Iconis to Rock Le Poisson Rouge The theatrical rock concert Things to Ruin: The Songs of Joe Iconis, featuring Nick Blaemire and Katrina Rose Dideriksen, will return to Le Poisson Rouge in February and March.

The Poisson Rouge engagements will reunite much of the original cast of Things to Ruin, who performed in the work during its Second Stage and Zipper Factory engagements in 2009. Performances will take place Feb. 28 (7:30 PM); March 7 (10 PM); and March 20 and 28 (both at 10:30 PM).

Iconis will join Blaemire and Dideriksen, as well as Ian Kagey, Eric William Morris, Mike Pettry, Lance Rubin, Brent Stranathan and Jason "Sweet Tooth" Williams.

Original director John Simpkins and musical director Matt Hinkley will reunite for the latest incarnation. Ghostlight Records (which released the two-CD cast album of Things to Ruin) and Sara Katz present the concerts.

Things to Ruin promises songs "about human beings who are messy, emotional, drugged up, knocked down, inspired, electric and who don’t have nearly enough time to cause the kind of commotion they so desperately need to."
