The comic and frightening aspects of falling in love take the stage in IntimiDating Strangers, playing Los Angeles' Third Street Theatre Aug. 4-Sept. 1. Comprising two one acts - Don Nigro's Necropolis and Frederick Stroppel's Do Over - IntimiDating Strangers is directed by Joe Ochman (The Thing of It, The Tempest.

The serious Necropolis begins the evening in a devastated Eastern European town. A beautiful woman sleeps with an American journalist covering the country's war, but that act forces him into her dark secret, which may cost both their lives. The comic Do Over visits an anxious young woman as she prepares for a date with her new boyfriends. Suddenly, his future self arrives, offering her various scenarios that will result from her actions that night.

Francesca Nina O'Keefe takes the female roles with Matt Richardson in the male roles. A native of Turkey, O'Keefe has appeared in Los Angeles productions of Anastasia, Beyond Therapy and Islands of Repair. Richardson performed in Barefoot in the Park, Billy Budd and The Barretts of Wimpole Street.
