Written and performed by the playwright-performer, The Worst of Bogosian — which is subtitled Solos, Speeches & Rants circa 1980 to 2000 — will play only four performances June 12-14 at the Public Theater's Martinson Hall. For the special benefit event, Bogosian will perform "a set of monologues from his repertory of OBIE award-winning solos, including Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll; Wake Up and Smell the Coffee; Drinking in America; Pounding Nails in the Floor with My Forehead; and FunHouse," according to an announcement. All proceeds will go to LAB for further work.

The playwright is currently represented on Broadway by Talk Radio (starring Tony Award nominee Liev Schreiber under the direction of Robert Falls). Other plays include subUrbia, Humpty Dumpty, Red Angel, Griller and 1+1 — the latter appeared in LAB's Barn Series. As an actor, Bogosian stars in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and played the Devil in LAB's run of Stephen Adly Guirgis' The Last Days of Judas Iscariot.

The previously scheduled This Is Now!, a collaboration between Bogosian and composer Elliott Sharp, has been postponed "due to scheduling conflicts."

Tickets to The Worst of Bogosian, at the Public Theater, 425 Lafayette Street, are available by calling (212) 967-7555. For more information visit labtheater.org.
