Billed as "an unseen picture of gay life before Stonewall and Harvey Milk," performances are scheduled for Tuesdays, July 12, 19 and 26 at 8 PM.

The play, created by Rob Rosiello and Jim Halloran, was written by Rosiello. Efrain Schunior directs.

This will be a minimalist production, "using a set and lighting plot, with the focus remaining on the script and a short, but intense, rehearsal process by the director and actors," according to Celebration. A post-show dialogue between the audience, creative team and Hay Estate will follow each performance.

Hay Days received a development scholarship from Primary Stages in New York that funded a staged reading and Harry Hay Symposium at the LGBT Center in the West Village.
