The Neil Simon Theatre — current home to the hit musical Hairspray — will house the annual competition, which follows six weeks of intensive fundraising by various shows on and off Broadway as well as touring productions throughout the country. It's a chance to celebrate the Broadway gypsies while raising funds for the worthy charity.
The fundraiser will be hosted by The Odd Couple's Brad Garrett and Lee Wilkof.
Tickets for this year's competition are priced $20, $40 and $90 with VIP and Priority tickets costing $200 and $350. Tickets can currently be purchased by calling (212) 840-0770 or by visiting the BC/EFA offices at 165 West 46th Street, Suite 1300. Tickets will also be available at the Neil Simon Theatre the days of the event.
Awards are presented in two categories: for best skit and for most money raised for BC/EFA. Last season, the competition raised a whopping $2,754,631.
