The schedule for the week of July 14-20 follows. Center Stage
July 14: As its summer offering, Roundabout Theatre Company and playwright Marc Saltzman are taking Off-Broadway audiences back in time to 1911 or so to a mythical meeting between two songwriting titans, the white Jewish-American hitmaker Irving Berlin and the African-American king of Ragtime Scott Joplin. They are played, respectively, by Michael Therriault and Michael Boatman, and host Robert Viagas met up with both actors backstage at the Laura Pels Theatre where they talked about music, history, personal tragedy, songwriting and in the case of Therriault, playing Gollum in the musical of Lord of the Rings.

Each week's new "Center Stage" show debuts at 7 PM ET Tuesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Wednesday, July 15; 11 PM Wednesday, July 15; 2 PM Thursday, July 16; 11 AM Saturday, July 18; 4 PM Sunday, July 19.

Composer Spotlight
July 16: A tour through the career of Broadway songwriters Arthur Schwartz and Howard Dietz, whose hits include "Dancing in the Dark," "That's Entertainment" and "Triplets."

Each week's "Composer Spotlight" debuts at 7 PM (ET) Thursday, with repeats scheduled for (all times are ET) 2 AM Friday, July 17; 11 PM Friday, July 17; 10 PM Sunday, July 19; 2 PM Monday, July 20.

This weekend's programming features Next to Normal orchestrator Michael Starobin and music director Charlie Alterman at 11 AM Saturday, July 11 and 4 PM Sunday, July 12; and a salute to Leslie Bricusse at 8 PM Sunday, July 12 and 2 PM Monday, July 13.
