News Tix for New Broadway Musical Book of Mormon On Sale Nov. 19 Tickets for The Book of Mormon, from the creators of "South Park" and a co-creator of Avenue Q, go on sale to the general public Nov. 19 at 10 AM ET following a presale that was aimed at "South Park" fans.

Tickets, priced $59-$137, will be available by visiting Telecharge.com or by calling (212) 239-6200.

The new musical comedy, which will begin previews Feb. 24, 2011, at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, will officially open on Broadway March 24. The cast will be headed by Josh Gad ("The Daily Show with Jon Stewart") and Andrew Rannells (Jersey Boys) as, respectively, Elders Cunningham and Price, "a pair of mismatched Mormon boys sent on a mission to a place that's about as far from Salt Lake City as you can get," according to press notes.

Also featured will be Nikki M. James (All Shook Up) as Nabalungi, Rory O'Malley (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) as Elder McKinley and Michael Potts (Grey Gardens) as Mafala Hatimbi with Scott Barnhardt, Justin Bohon, Darlesia Cearcy, Kevin Duda, Asmeret Ghebremichael, Brian Tyree Henry, John Eric Parker, Jason Michael Snow, Benjamin Schrader, Michael James Scott, Brian Sears, Lawrence Stallings, Rema Webb, Maia Nkenge Wilson and Tommar Wilson. Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

Mormon was penned by "South Park" co-creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker and Avenue Q Tony winner Robert Lopez. Parker will co-direct the production with The Drowsy Chaperone's Casey Nicholaw, who is also choreographing.

Lead producers are Scott Rudin and Anne Garefino; the latter is the executive producer of "South Park."

The production will also feature designs by Scott Pask (sets), Ann Roth (costumes), Brian MacDevitt (lighting) and Brian Ronan (sound). Orchestrations are by Larry Hochman; music supervision is by Stephen Oremus.
