Chicago 1933: When the fair returns 40 years later, so do the unfinished histories of everything that could have been. And so things begin for the hermit upstairs and the mysterious look-a-like below."

New plays by Winnie Holzman, Stephen Karam, David Rabe and Ayad Akhtar have been selected as part of the Play Readings Festival, which will be presented this summer during New York Stage and Film's Powerhouse Theatre Season.
