A spokesperson for the Tony Awards told Playbill.com that the Administration Committee will assemble for the final time this season May 11. The Committee will discuss the eligibility requirements of all Broadway shows that opened this season that have not previously been discussed. The Administration Committee met in April and January 2006 and in September 2005. The cut-off date for Tony eligibility for the current season is May 10. Nominations will be announced May 16.
The 2006 Tony Awards will be broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall on CBS-TV on June 11, from 8-11 PM ET.
