News Tony and Olivier Winner Griffiths to Read "Night Before Christmas" at Tree Lighting Ceremony Richard Griffiths, the Tony and Olivier Award-winning actor currently back on Broadway in Equus, will take part in the annual Macy's Herald Square Tree Lighting ceremony Nov. 23.

The 6:30 PM event will feature Griffiths reading the classic holiday poem "The Night Before Christmas." He will be joined by Kermit the Frog, Grandma from the Big Apple Circus, The Mistletones, and, of course, a special appearance by Santa Claus.

Macy's holiday windows will also be unveiled Nov. 23.

The ceremony will be held at Macy's Herald Square, located on Broadway between 34th and 35th Street.
