The cast will be led by Tony winners Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza, Sister Act) and Randy Graff (City of Angels, A Class Act) with Derek Klena (Dogfight), Maya Kazan (Frances Ha) and Nadine Malouf (May in Summer).

Lisa Peterson is attached to the project, but due to a prior commitment, this reading will be directed by Kareem Fahmy.

Narrow Daylight, according to press notes, tells the story of "Susan Davis, who is still reeling from the death of her husband and the recent loss of her son in the Iraq war. She is soon confronted with a surprise visitor at her doorstep: Lena, a young Iraqi girl who is more connected to her son than she could ever imagine. Not even her best friend, cookie-baking Jesus-loving Gloria, and her wise ass daughter Anne-Marie, can avoid the tides of change as West meets East in sleepy Panama City, FL where the most exciting thing to happen is the opening of a Super Target."

Narrow Daylight was developed by Greene during his tenure in The Public Theater's 2011 Emerging Writers Group. The play was a recent finalist and winner of ATC's inaugural NuVoices for a NuGeneration Playwriting Festival.

Greene is a New York City-based Lebanese‐Armenian/Pakistani actor and playwright and a Gulf War (Part I) Refugee, whose plays include Forgotten Bread, DOON, Say Something, babel, STUFF, In the Name of Silence, The Nihilism of WHOOSH and This Time.

Primary Stages is located at 307 West 38th St., #1510. Industry folk interested in attending the reading should contact Quinn M. Corbin at Gersh-NY.
