News Tony Awards Showcase Presented Free of Charge at the Times Square Museum and Visitor Center The Tony Awards is currently presenting the second annual Tony Awards Showcase at the Times Square Museum and Visitor Center.

The 2012 Tony Award Showcase, which begins May 23 and continues through June 10, includes historic Tony memorabilia from the past 66 years: an actual Tony Award, an Audemars Piguet Clock from the Tony Awards Red Carpet and costumes from Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Porgy and Bess, Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark, Sunset Boulevard, Phantom of the Opera and more, all on loan from Theatre Development Fund's Costume Collection.

“We are thrilled to be able to once again share these pieces of Tony history with Broadway fans, both here in New York City, and those visiting from around the world,” said Heather Hitchens, executive director of the American Theatre Wing, in a statement. “The Times Square Museum and Visitor Center, located right in the heart of Times Square, is the perfect place for us to celebrate the Tony Award legacy,” added Charlotte St. Martin, executive director of The Broadway League.

Times Square Museum and Visitor Center is located on Seventh Avenue between 46th and 47th Streets. Admission is free to the public.

The 2012 Tony Awards will be broadcast in a live three-hour ceremony from the Beacon Theatre on the CBS television network June 10. The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
