News Tony Nominee Barrie Will Be Part of Reading of Creating Claire at Cape Cod Theatre Project Tony and Academy Award nominee Barbara Barrie has joined the cast of the Cape Cod Theatre Project's staged reading of Joe DiPietro's Creating Claire, which will be presented July 16-18.

Barrie (Company, Torch Song Trilogy, "Breaking Away") joins a cast that includes the previously announced Celia Keenan-Bolger (Spelling Bee), Johanna Day (Proof) and Matthew Arkin (Dinner With Friends). Christopher Ashley (Memphis, Xanadu) directs the reading of the new play, which is described as "an exploration of the supernova that results when science, faith and politics collide."

Additional works presented in The Cape Cod Theatre include Zohar Tirosh's Six, Anna Ziegler's Photograph 51 and Aladdin Ullah's solo work, Indio.
