Ron Taylor will return to the cast of Broadway's It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues, Aug. 24. The Tony nominee and co-creator suffered a mild stroke June 11 and was not initially expected to return, but he'll be with the show both at its current location (the Vivian Beaumont Theatre at Lincoln Center) and in its upcoming move to the Ambassador Theatre. Ken Page (The Wiz, Ain't Misbehavin') filled in for Taylor starting July 1. The Blues company will open at Broadway's Ambassador Theatre Sept. 8.
