News Tony Sheldon, Adam Kantor and Emily Padgett Say G'DAY Broadway! Tonight at the Metropolitan Room G'DAY Broadway! The Music of Matthew Lee Robinson, a concert featuring the music of the Australian songwriter, is held April 29 at The Metropolitan Room in New York City.

The 7 PM concert features performances from Tony nominee Tony Sheldon (Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Ever After), Donna Vivino (Wicked, Les Misérables), Tracy McDowell (Rent, Motown), Tim Young (Next To Normal), Brad Greer (Altar Boyz), Anne Fraser Thomas (How The Grinch Stole Christmas), Alison Cusano (A Night With Janis Joplin), Dave Thomas Brown (Heathers), Billy Lewis Jr. ("Glee"), Adam Kantor (Rent, The Last Five Years), Emily Padgett (Side Show), Amma Osei (Rock of Ages), Ryann Redmond (Bring it On, If/Then), Heather Brorsen (Avenue Q) and Ashley Loren (Jekyll & Hyde).

David Alpert (If/Then, The Trip to Bountiful, The Best Man) directs with musical direction by Robinson.

Australian composer-lyricist Robinson has won the UTAS Stephen Schwartz Songwriting Award and written for the Emmy-nominated TV series "Dance Academy." His work has also been featured at Ars Nova as well as Seattle's New Voices concert series. His latest musicals, Happy People and Atlantis, have been developed with mentorship from composer Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin). Robinson was the recipient of the Australia Council Music Fellowship to develop works throughout the U.S. and Australia.
