News Tony Winner Beverley to Direct Rewriting Her Life Tony Award winner Trezana Beverley will direct a new comedy by Barbara Sutton Masry that will play a limited engagement at the 411 Space Times Square Arts Center.

Entitled Rewriting Her Life, the new work will play the West 43rd Street venue Nov. 28-Dec. 9 with an official opening Nov. 29. The cast will feature Rob Alicea, Sandra Bauleo, Jeff Burchfield, James M. Farrell, Joanna Rhinehart, Maja Wampuszyc and Anne Yorke.

Rewriting Her Life, according to press notes, is "a tribute to the aspirations, disillusionments, and collaborations of struggling theatre artists everywhere. This sharp and sophisticated romp tells the story of a struggling Manhattan playwright who returns to Brooklyn University, her alma mater, seeking a production of her latest play. Ambition and romance collide when she hooks up with her old college crush who is now the Acting Chair of the Theater Department."

The design team comprises Ken Davis (lighting), Raisy Derzie (scenic), Ali Turns (costume) and Robin Vest (set).

Director Trezana Beverley won a Tony Award for her performance in For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow Is Enuf. Her other acting credits include roles in Mother Courage, Flyin' West, Peer Gynt and Macbeth. Her directorial credits include Salome, Yellowman, String of Pearls and The Bluest Eye.

Show times are Thursday-Saturday at 8 PM and Sundays at 5 PM. Tickets, priced $18, are available by calling (212) 352-3101. The 411 Space Times Square Arts Center is located in Manhattan at 300 West 43rd Street.
