Mitchell, who was last on Broadway in the revival of Man of La Mancha, has titled his debut act Love/Life. The celebrated baritone will offer a romantic evening of classic love songs, including "Make Someone Happy," "How Long Has This Been Going On?" and "It's All Right With Me." Musical director Mike Renzi will head a quartet of musicians. About his Feinstein's engagement (Feb. 1-19), Mitchell said in a statement, "I am thrilled to be making my nightclub debut at Feinstein's at the Regency. I want this to be a feel-good night, where you can take your honey to celebrate love and life. I hope people will walk out feeling better than when they walked in."

Brian Stokes Mitchell earned a Tony nomination for his performance in the title role of Man of La Mancha. He won the 2000 Tony, Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk awards for his performance as Fred Graham/Petruchio in Kiss Me, Kate, and his other Broadway credits include lead roles in King Hedley II; Ragtime; Kiss of the Spider Woman; Jelly's Last Jam; Oh, Kay!; Mail; and the City Center Encores! presentations of Do Re Mi and Carnival. Television audiences will be familiar with Mitchell's work from his roles on "Trapper John, M.D.," "Roots" and "Frasier." Mitchell was also recently elected the twelfth president of the Actors' Fund of America.

Mitchell will be followed at the Regency by the legendary Chita Rivera, who will strut her stuff Feb. 22-March 12.
