Faith Prince, who currently stars in the Lincoln Center production of A Man of No Importance, will open The New York Pops season Oct. 25.

The Pops, which was founded by Skitch Henderson, will perform at Carnegie Hall's Isaac Stern Auditorium beginning at 8 PM. Tony Award winner Prince is the evening's guest vocalist; Henderson will conduct the orchestra, although Charles Prince will conduct during Prince's portion.

Faith Prince won a Tony Award for her performance as Adelaide in the Broadway revival of Guys and Dolls. Her numerous Broadway credits also include Noises Off, Bells Are Ringing, James Joyce's The Dead, Little Me, The King and I, What's Wrong with This Picture?, Nick & Nora and Jerome Robbins' Broadway. Her solo recording, "Leap of Faith," was recorded live at Joe's Pub and is available from DRG Records.
