News Tony Winner Jason Robert Brown to Go it Solo at Birdland Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown, most recently represented on Broadway with the kid-friendly musical 13, will perform in concert next month at Birdland.

The composer-lyricist will play the famed venue March 14 at 7 PM and March 16-18 at 7 PM. Concertgoers can expect to hear brand-new material as well as songs from The Last Five Years, Songs for a New World, Parade, 13 and the album "Wearing Someone Else's Clothes." The performance, according to press notes, "will be a very rare up-close-and-personal evening with Jason – no band, no hype, just Brown at a piano sharing his art and his music."

Brown won a Tony Award for his score to Parade.
