According to The Abbey, "Norbert's critically acclaimed evening (subsequently released as a CD) features re-imagined arrangements from many of his Broadway musicals by musical director Michael Moritz, as well as contemporary songs that were an intimate part of Norbert's life growing up in rural Missouri, ranging from country and blues to rock 'n roll!"

Butz recently starred in the Broadway production of Big Fish. He took home Tony Awards for his performances in Catch Me If You Can and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. Butz, who was also Tony-nominated for his performance in Thou Shalt Not, has also been seen on Broadway in Rent, Wicked, Is He Dead?, Speed-the-Plow and Enron.
