In celebration of his 32nd year as a performing artist, tap dance whiz and Tony-winning choreographer Savion Glover will bring his show to B.B. King’s Blues Club & Grill August 17.

The artist was most recently represented on Broadway with his Tony-nominated (and Drama Desk-winning) choreography for Shuffle Along or the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed. Glover won a Tony in 1996 for his choreography for Bring in ‘da Noise, Bring in ‘da Funk, for which he also received a Best Actor in a Musical Tony nomination.

Glover made his Broadway debut as Willie in The Tap Dance Kid and performed in Black and Blue and Jelly’s Last Jam. He also choreographed the Academy Award-winning Happy Feet and its sequel, Happy Feet 2. Over the course of his career, Glover has not only been a leading dancer and choreographer, but an advocate for the art form of tap.
