In conjunction with actor-director Victoria Clark’s current production of Conor McPherson’s new version of August Strindberg’s The Dance of Death for Classic Stage Company, CSC will present Tony winner Clark in the second installment of its new Classic Conversations series.
The March 5 event, which begins at 7 PM, will feature an intimate conversation with Clark, who will discuss her award-winning career with CSC Artistic Director John Doyle and Tony-winning music director/orchestrator Ted Sperling.
Sperling, who worked with Clark on The Light in the Piazza, will also accompany Clark on piano for the musical portion of the evening.
The event will be held at Classic Stage Company, 136 E. 13th Street. Tickets are $100–$150 and can be purchased at ClassicStage.org or at (212) 352-3101. The Dance of Death runs in repertory with director Shariffa Ali’s staging of Yaël Farber’s Mies Julie through March 10.
