Celebrity action in the five-month-old actors strike against commercial producers is not limited to negotiating table appearances and strike rally speeches by top actors. Harrison Ford and Kevin Spacey have contributed large sums to SAG's Strike Relief Fund. Spacey donated $100,000 and USA Today reported that Ford matched that contribution. A SAG source confirmed their donations (but not exact amounts) as well as those from George Clooney, Jay Leno, Britney Spears and the band 'N Sync.
A call to SAG's Strike Relief Fund was not returned by press time.
