The "Roxie" national tour of Chicago winds up one part of its long and winding run in Greenville, SC, Aug. 22, when it shuts down for six weeks before reconstituting in October.

Tony Award-winner Hal Linden, a New York musical theatre fixture in the 1960s and early 70s, before becoming TV's "Barney Miller," joined the company (as slimy lawyer Billy Flynn) in Madison, WI, Aug. 4, and went on to Hartford, CT, Aug. 6-8, and St. Louis, MO, Aug. 10-15.
He is expected to step into the Las Vegas "Velma" company of Chicago beginning Aug. 24, through at least December. He replaces Ben Vereen.
