News Triassic Parq The Musical Will Stalk Off-Broadway This Summer; Casting Announced Triassic Parq The Musical, which was seen during the 2010 New York International Fringe Festival, will play a limited Off-Broadway engagement this June at the Soho Playhouse.

Written by Marshall Pailet, Bryce Norbitz and Steve Wargo, the Off-Broadway run will reunite cast members from the FringeNYC staging and a recent fall reading of the musical. Performances are scheduled for June 12-Aug. 5. Triassic Parq will officially open June 27.

The cast includes Lindsay Nicole Chambers (Hairspray, Legally Blonde), Brandon Espinoza (Gypsy, Les Miserables), Wade McCollum (Cabaret), Claire Neumann (The Spidey Project), Lee Seymour (Hamlet), Shelley Thomas (Brooklyn, Zanna, Don't!) and Alex Wyse (Lysistrata Jones).

Here's how it's billed: "Raucous and hilarious, Triassic Parq The Musical vividly brings together music, sex and singing dinosaurs in ways hitherto unimagined. Chaos is unleashed upon the not-so-prehistoric world when one dinosaur in a clan of females spontaneously turns male. The mutation spawns a chain reaction of identity crises, forcing the dinosaurs to question the very facts of life they've held as truth. Triassic Parq is an unflinching musical meditation on science, faith and love. Like all great tales laden with import, it is narrated by Morgan Freeman."

Triassic Parq will have choreography by Kyle Mullins and musical direction by Zak Sandler. The production has set design by Caite Hevner, costume design by Dina Perez, lighting design by Jennifer Schriever and sound design by Carl Casella and Chris Cronin.

The run is presented by Amas Musical Theatre, in association with Flying Squirrel Theatricals, RD Productions, Bulldog Theatrical, P2 Creations, and The Weekly World News. For tickets phone (212) 352-3101 or visit TriassicParq.com. The Soho Playhouse is located at 15 Vandam Street.
