News Tune to Headline Come to Our Cabaret Fundraiser for Museum of the City of New York Nine-time Tony Award winner Tommy Tune will headline the Museum of the City of New York's Come to Our Cabaret benefit April 7.

The gala fundraiser will include a cocktail reception, dinner and performances from Tune as well as Brigid Brady, Joy Lynn Matthews and Josh Rouah. The evening's entertainment will be directed by Michael Montel with musical direction by Larry Yurman.

Come to Our Cabaret benefits the Museum of the City of New York's theatre collection, which includes sets, costumes, and other objects related to many of New York's most celebrated Broadway productions.

Honorary chairs for the evening include Carmen de Lavallade, Sheldon Harnick, Geoffrey Holder, William Ivey Long, Rue McClanahan, Alfred Molina, Marian Selde Honorary Chairs include Carmen de Lavallade, Sheldon Harnick, Geoffrey Holder, William Ivey Long, Rue McClanahan, Alfred Molina and Marian Seldes.

A nine-time Tony Award winner, director-choreographer-actor Tune has helped create such Broadway shows as Nine, My One & Only, A Day in Hollywood/A Night in the Ukraine, The Will Rogers Follies and Grand Hotel. He helmed Off-Broadway's The Club and Cloud Nine, and he spent two years starring in the Las Vegas production of the spectacular EFX at the MGM Grand Hotel, where he was awarded Best Production Star of the Year in 2001. Tune was recently seen in the national tour of Dr. Dolittle.

The evening will take place at 7 PM within the Museum of the City of New York, located at 1220 Fifth Avenue. Tickets, priced $1,000-$5,000, are available by visiting www.mcny.org.
