News Tupperware Party Comedy, Sealed for Freshness, Will Burp Its Last April 29 Sealed for Freshness, Doug Stone's new Off-Broadway comedy set at a Tupperware party, will give its final performance 3 PM April 29 at New World Stages.

The cast features Patricia Dalen, Brian Dykstra, Nancy Hornback, Kate Vandevender, J.J. Van Name and Jennifer Dorr White. The author directed his own work.

Upon closing, Sealed for Freshness, which was not embraced by critics, but showed relative durability, will have given 86 performances. The run began Feb. 15 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) and opening night was Feb. 24.

"Set in the 1960s on a hilarious journey of self-discovery, Sealed for Freshness is the story of five Midwestern women who believe in being good wives, good mothers and good neighbors," according to the producers. "They were raised to trade their dreams, hopes and desires for social norms — and now they want them back."

Sealed for Freshness plays the following performance schedule Tuesdays 8 PM, Wednesdays at 2 PM and 8 PM, Thursdays and Fridays at 8 PM, Saturdays at 2 PM. and 8 PM, and Sundays at 3 PM.
