Neil Patrick Harris in A Series of Unfortunate Events
Less than one month after ordering a second season, Netflix has announced it will also green light a third season of A Series of Unfortunate Events, which stars Tony and Emmy winner Neil Patrick Harris, Variety reports. Based on the series of books by Lemony Snicket (a.k.a. Daniel Handler), the series follows the orphaned Baudelaire siblings, Violet, Klaus, and Sunny, and the evil Count Olaf (Harris), who devises several plots and disguises to acquire their inheritance.

Harris was awarded the Tony for his work in the Broadway debut of Hedwig and the Angry Inch. The singing actor will also executive produce and host a new game show for NBC entitled Genius Junior.

Julie's Greenroom to Release Soundtrack
The new Netflix series Julie's Greenroom, which stars Julie Andrews as she assembles a kids' theatre troupe with the help of her show business friends, will release a soundtrack. The album, from Varèse Sarabande Records, will be available digitally April 14 and in stores May 5. The album will feature Andrews, newcomer Giullian Yao Gioiello, and the series' several guest stars—including David Hyde Pierce, Alec Baldwin, Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, and Carol Burnett—singing numbers composed by Ryan Shore.

Raven-Symoné and Anneliese van der Pol in the That's So Raven spinoff
Raven-Symoné and Anneliese van der Pol will reprise their roles in Disney Channel's upcoming spinoff of That's So Raven, according to TVline. Entitled Raven's Home, the new series again casts Raven-Symoné as the titular psychic with van der Pol as her best friend Chelsea. The cast will also include Issac Brown and Navia Robinson as Raven’s children, Jason Maybaum as Chelsea's son, and Sky Katz as the best friend of Raven's daughter.

The spinoff follows divorced single moms Raven and Chelsea, who are raising their children together in the same house; however, according to a show description, “when one of Raven’s kids begins to show signs that they have inherited her trait of catching glimpses of the future, the already hectic household gets turned upside down, keeping even Raven on her toes.”

Raven-Symoné stepped into the role of Deloris Van Cartier in the Broadway musical Sister Act. Van der Pol made her Main Stem debut as Belle in Beauty and the Beast. Take a look at the two performing at Feinstein's/54 Below below.

Christopher McDonald in Law & Order: SVU
Stage and screen star Christopher McDonald will play the head of a network who is accused of raping a female news anchor in an upcoming broadcast of Law & Order: SVU, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Seemingly based on the Roger Ailes scandal at Fox, the episode will debut April 26 at 9 PM ET on NBC. The episode, which is titled “The Newsroom,” will also feature Bonnie Somerville and Mark Moses.

McDonald's Broadway credits include the recent revival of The Front Page as well as Lucky Guy and Chicago.
