Subtitled "A Star-Studded Retrospective," the evening will be hosted by five-time Tony Award-winning actress Angela Lansbury and will feature Tony Award winners Bebe Neuwirth, Ann Reinking, Chita Rivera, Tommy Tune and Karen Ziemba.
The ceremony will be followed by an "Anniversary Supper with the Stars" in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton New York, which will also feature dancing and a live auction.
Tharp, who directed and choreographed Broadway's current Come Fly Away, for which she was Tony-nominated, said in a statement, "I am honored to be the 2010 recipient of the Rolex Dance Award. 25 years of helping dancers accomplish new goals after their careers as performing artists is a great accomplishment for Career Transition For Dancers."
Tharp won her Tony for Best Choreography for Movin' Out.
