News Tyne Daly Will Kick Off McCarter's Cabaret Series; Season to Include Christine Ebersole, Florence Henderson Tony and Emmy Award winner Tyne Daly will open the McCarter Theatre's 2011-12 cabaret series Oct. 22 at 7:30 PM.

Daly, who was recently seen on Broadway as Maria Callas in the revival of Terrence McNally's Master Class, has been seen at McCarter in Edward Albee’s Me, Myself & I. Daly won the Tony Award in 1990 for her performance in Gypsy and won Emmy Awards for her work on "Cagney and Lacey" and "Judging Amy."

The performer is currently starring in the new musical It Shoulda Been You, directed by Tony winner David Hyde Pierce, which recently began performances Oct. 4 at New Jersey's George Street Playhouse.

In 2012, McCarter's cabaret series will include Grammy nominee Jane Monheit, Feb. 18; Tony Award winner Christine Ebersole (42nd Street, Grey Gardens), March 17; and Florence Henderson (The Girl Who Came to Supper, Fanny), April 14.
