In celebration of the 2007 Tony Awards, the theatre folk — along with vocalist Julie Budd — will present a "fun filled evening of live performances, theatre chat, and a CD and book signing," according to an announcement. The event will take place at the Barnes and Noble Lincoln Center location at 1972 Broadway, from 5:30-8 PM.
Tony Award winner Uggams (Hallelujah, Baby!) — seen recently in On Golden Pond and Thoroughly Modern Millie — as well as Hoty (Mamma Mia!, City of Angels) will perform.
Lane — represented on Broadway by Legally Blonde — is currently nominated for his production of Jay Johnson: The Two and Only. Other credits for the author of "Let's Put On a Show!" include Fiddler on the Roof, Thoroughly Modern Millie, 1776, The Will Rogers Follies and La Cage aux Folles.
