The Associate, a comedy by Simon Bent, has its press night at the National Theatre's Loft on Aug. 19.
Directed by Paul Miller (who has directed two previous plays by Bent), this play is a richly comic study of politics and wallpapering, in which two self employed chancers redecorate a pensioner's council house and find more than they bargained for.
The Loft's summer season at the National has been a great success so far, and hopes are high for the run of The Associate, which plays until Aug. 31.
