How would you celebrate your 80th birthday? If you're Uta Hagen, you revisit a triumph and give the proceeds to something you care about.

On Nov. 14 at Broadway's Majestic Theatre, Hagen and Anthony Hopkins will costar in a reading of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Edward Albee's landmark drama, as a benefit for the HB Foundation. Hagen won a Tony Award for playing the original Martha in Woolf's 1962 premiere.

Albee's drama of psychological game-playing tells of a middle-aged professor and his wife, daughter of the college's president, and a wild, ugly night the two spend with a younger academic couple.

A spokesperson from Lorelei Enterprises, which is handling the benefit, told Playbill On-Line two other actors have yet to be cast in the roles of Nick and Honey.

Hagen has long been a teacher at HB Studios, one of the best-known acting schools in the country. For tickets ($500 and up) and information on the Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? benefit, call (212) 838-2660.
