Lemper is scheduled to play the intimate nightspot located within the Public Theater Oct. 4-5 at 7 PM, Oct. 6 at 9 PM and Oct. 30-31 at 7 PM and 9:30 PM.

The evenings, entitled Ute Lemper Sings Pablo Neruda Song Cycle of Love Poems, feature a song cycle composed by Lemper and Marcelo Nisinman that feature the love poems of Pablo Neruda. The cycle is presented primarily in Spanish with adaptations in French and English.

The singing actress is joined by Steve Millhouse, Tito Castro, Andy Ezrin and John Benthal.

Ute Lemper made her Broadway debut in the revival of Kander and Ebb's Chicago, and she is known throughout the world for her unique solo concerts that feature an eclectic array of material. She was named Billboard Crossover Artist of 1993-94, and her theatre credits feature roles in Peter Pan, Cabaret and Blue Angel. Lemper's many solo discs include "Ute Lemper Sings Kurt Weill," "Illusions," "Punishing Kiss," "Berlin Cabaret Songs" and "City of Strangers." Recent CD releases include "Blood & Feathers" (also on DVD) and "Between Yesterday and Tomorrow."
