Ute Lemper, the languid, long-legged German chanteuse, will play nine shows at Manhattan's Joe's Pub, Sept. 6-16. Her stint will be part of the club's Songbook Series. All shows are at 8:30.

The show will feature material from Lemper's upcoming London show, Naughty Baby. Audiences will hear songs of Eisler, Brecht and Weill and Brel, as well as the singer's own songs.

Lemper has proved equally popular on the cabaret circuits of Europe, England and the U.S. Both London and Broadway saw Lemper act as Velma Kelly in the revival of Kander and Ebb's musical, Chicago. She won a London Olivier Award for her performance. Her albums include "All That Jazz," "Berlin Cabaret Songs" and "Punishing Kiss."
