Tony Award winner Michael Crawford, who is currently starring in Dance of the Vampires at the Minskoff Theatre, can be seen in the PBS special "Trans-Siberian Orchestra: Ghosts of Christmas Eve" Nov. 26. PBS station WLIW (Channel 21 in the metropolitan area) presents this 90-minute holiday special beginning at 8 PM (ET). Narrated by Ossie Davis, the program concerns a young runaway girl who decides to return home after she encounters a theatre's old caretaker. The caretaker brings his old theatre to life with a host of musical performances, including those by Michael Crawford, who offers the holiday favorite "O Holy Night"; pop singer Jewel; and the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

Directed by Hart Perry, "Trans-Siberian Orchestra: Ghosts of Christmas Eve" was written by Paul O'Neill. Go to www.pbs.org for more information.

Michael Crawford is currently playing Count von Krolock in the new musical Dance of the Vampires. He won Tony and Olivier awards for his work in the title role of Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera. He also received an Olivier for his performance in the London production of Barnum, and his screen credits include "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," "How I Won the War" and "Hello, Dolly!" Crawford's solo recordings are numerous and include "Michael Crawford Performs Andrew Lloyd Webber," "A Touch of Music in the Night," "On Eagle's Wings," "Michael Crawford in Concert" and "Songs from the Stage and Screen."
