The June 2 performance at the John Golden Theatre will benefit the charitable organization; show time is 8 PM.

"Vanya and his stepsister Sonia have lived their entire lives in their family’s farmhouse," according to press notes. "While they cared for their ailing parents, their sister Masha has been gallivanting around the world as a successful actress and movie star, leaving Vanya and Sonia trapped and regretful. Their soothsayer/cleaning woman, Cassandra, keeps warning them about terrible things in the future, which include a sudden visit from Masha and her twenty-something boy toy Spike."

Actors Fund Special Performances, according to the Fund, "have been thrilling audiences for more than 80 years with an electric energy unlike any other night of theatre! What makes a Special Performance so 'special'? Each year, Broadway companies, in New York and on the road, generously give their time and talent by adding a performance to already rigorous schedules to benefit The Actors Fund."

John Golden Theatre is located at 252 West 45th Street.
