Abbey Theatre veteran Vincent Dowling is Wilde About Oscar March 4-7 with the third installment of CityStage's Flying Solo Festival in Springfield, MA. Dowling wrote and performs the piece, which traces Wilde's life and obsession with experiencing every emotion and all the passion of existence. Born in Dublin, Dowling spent 23 years with Dublin's Abbey Theatre. He has also appeared in New York, London, Paris and at the Edinburgh Festival. In the United States, Dowling founded the Miniature Theatre of Chester, MA , performed at the White House and has worked at the Missouri Repertory Theatre and the Great Lakes Theatre Festival, among others.
