The program includes Elgar's Symphony No. 1 and Walton's Scapino, A Comedy Overture. Tchaikovsky's Suite From Sleeping Beauty will alternate with the Violin Concerto.
Vladimir Ashkenazy, the former principal guest conductor of the Cleveland Orchestra, will conduct.
The 27-year-old Jansen, who has appeared as a soloist in her native Holland and elsewhere in Europe since the late 1990s, is making her first American appearances this season. She debuts with the Cleveland Orchestra at Severance Hall on January 19.
The tour marks the Cleveland Orchestra's eighth visit to Florida, its fifth trip to Georgia, and its first-ever performance in Athens. Starting in 2007, the orchestra will appear annually at the new Miami Performing Arts Center.
