In this fusion of song and dance that first embarked on a theatre tour last winter, the two artists pay tribute to the heroes and heroines who have inspired them. Directed by choreographer Kim Gavin, who worked previously with Take That, the show sees two of Britain's best loved and admired stars stretch each other's discipline.
In a press statement Jenkins commented, "We're really overwhelmed by the reaction and interest in our show. We never thought it would sell out so quickly and I am so thrilled that we are going to be able to perform it on a bigger scale." Darcey added, "Ballet has been my focus for 28 years. Now I am stepping into a variety of different styles of dance that I have always had a passion to perform. Katherine's voice has an exceptional quality and I'm very much looking forward to combining our very different talents."
Also contributing to the production are Take That songwriter Gary Barlow and lyricist Tim Rice, former Royal Ballet star Jonathan Cope and designer Julien MacDonald.
