News Walton Brothers Revue The Eyes Are the First Thing to Go to Play Manhattan Feb. 10-11 The Eyes Are the First Thing to Go: The Mid-Life Musical Comedy Revue by brothers Jim and Bob Walton, returns to Manhattan Feb. 10-11 for an industry-only presentation. The show, which played the New York Musical Theatre Festival Sept. 22, 2004, is produced by actress Paige Price.

Starring are Michele Pawk (Tony Award for Hollywood Arms), Beth Leavel, David Hibbard (A Class Act), Darrin Baker, Laurie Walton (Show Boat) and Kevin Pariseau. Musical direction is by Mark Hartman Mark Waldrop directs. "The Eyes Are the First Thing to Go takes a comic look at middle-age, from ticking biological clocks and radical life changes to Empty Nest Syndrome and a trip to the proctologist," according to past production notes. "The Eyes also explores the more delicate issues of identity and of aging parents. Songs include 'Late Night Chat,' 'Am I Anyone Now?,' 'Weekend Warriors' and 'I Quit!'"

The revue has book, music and lyrics by veteran Broadway performers Jim and Bob Walton.  Together, the brothers' writing credits include Double Trouble (A Musical Tour de Farce) and the musical cabaret My Brother's Keeper.

Waldrop also directed and provided book and lyrics for When Pigs Fly.
