Video Watch Aaron Tveit’s Powerful Rendition of the National Anthem The stage and screen star performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Yankee Stadium October 3.

Aaron Tveit, last on Broadway in Catch Me If You Can, sang the National Anthem at the October 3 MLB playoff game between the New York Yankees and the Minnesota Twins at Yankee Stadium. Watch his performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” below.

The performance was preceded by a moment of silent prayer to honor the victims of and those affected by the mass shooting in Las Vegas earlier this week.

Tveit, who recently starred in Barrington Stage Company's production of Stephen Sondheim's Company, has appeared on Broadway in Next to Normal, Wicked, and Hairspray. His screen credits include Graceland, Grease Live!, and Les Misérables.

He is also an avid Yankees fan and appeared in the 2016 baseball-themed film Undrafted.
