Waitress composer (and sometimes star) Sara Bareilles hopped behind the wheel with Dear Evan Hansen Tony winner Ben Platt in the passenger seat in the Apple TV spinoff of the popular Late Late Show With James Corden segment to lend their vocals to their favorite pop hits and more.
In addition to some Stevie Wonder and Ben Folds, the two improvise some holiday jingles, partner for the Waitress duet "Bad Idea," and sing from Platt's debut album, Sing to Me Instead (out now). Bareilles also has the idea to turn the episode into a short film, inevitably winning both of them an Oscar (and effectively making Platt an EGOT winner). The campaign starts now.
