The Nickelodeon 32nd annual Kids’ Choice Awards took place March 23 in Los Angeles, and some Broadway cast members of SpongeBob SquarePants were on hand to celebrate.

After a performance by R&B star Migos, original SpongeBob and Tony nominee Ethan Slater (who will be seen in the upcoming Fosse/Verdon) began singing “Best Day Ever” from the audience. (Fast forward to 3:08.)

Slater was joined by Danny Skinner as Patrick Star, Christina Sajous as Sandy Cheeks, Gavin Lee as Squidward Q. Tentacles, and Brian Ray Norris as Eugene Krabs—all of whom appeared on Broadway. The performance capped off with the original SpongeBob theme song. Watch the full video above.

SpongeBob SquarePants will launch a non-union national tour (under the new title The SpongeBob Musical) in September.
