Accepting congratulations on the show's 12 Tony nominations overall, he said there is "something universal" about the story of a family in crisis. He then introduced three of the show's youngest performers, including fellow Tony nominee Sydney Lucas, to perform the show's tongue-in-cheek "commercial" for the family funeral home, "Come To the Fun Home."
