Three-time Grammy nominee and multi-platinum recording artist Josh Groban joined James Corden on CBS’ The Late Late Show with James Corden August 29.

Groban is poised to make his Broadway debut as Pierre in the upcoming Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 at the Imperial Theatre. The show begins performances October 18 and also stars Denée Benton as Natasha.

A long-time theatre aficionado, Corden poked fun at Groban at the 70th Annual Tony Awards when he unearthed a home video of Groban performing “If I Were a Rich Man” in an amateur production of Fiddler on the Roof.

On the set of The Late Late Show, Groban joined model and Project Runway judge Heidi Klum on the couch. The trio discussed how best to spend a staycation (since Groban is about to have a few days off) and dealing with bullies as kids.

Then Corden and Groban took to the mic for a new game called “First Line, Every Line,” where the singers chose a song and substituted the first line of lyrics for all of the lyrics in the entire song.

The star previously sang “Public Doman Songs” with Corden on the show in December.
